1990s Chanel Blue Caviar Timeless CC Chain Shoulder Bag

The piece
Chanel Timeless CC chain shoulder bag in blue caviar leather with gold-tone hardware. Late 1990s — the era before Chanel went logo-loud, when the CC was stitched tonally into the panel and left at that. Leather-woven chain at approximately 122 cm, long enough to cross-body, with a CHANEL-lettered leather pull tab. Zip-top closure, beige leather-lined interior with a zip pocket and the embossed CHANEL made-in-Italy oval. Caviar is the leather that survives being used, which is what makes a thirty-year-old bag still the best in the room.

Condition
In excellent shape, rated Very Good. Pebbled blue leather is consistent in colour and texture with no visible scratches, scuffs or creasing. Structured shape holding, CC embossing clean. Stitching tight and even throughout. Gold chain strap with interwoven leather shows light patina on a few links, zipper and hardware secure.

Approximately 17 cm wide. Chain approximately 122 cm.

Authenticity sticker present, 5-series — dating the bag to 1997–1999.
