2000s Chanel Surf Line Blue Wave Canvas Tote XL

Chanel Surf Line tote, XL. Blue canvas printed with a repeating wave motif, the interlocking CC set inside the pattern rather than applied on top. Red straps, wide and flat.

Unstructured body that slouches when empty and squares off when loaded. Open top, no closure. Wide flat base, so it stands on its own. Straps clear the shoulder and sit the bag at hip height. Roomy enough for everything else you refuse to leave behind.

From Chanel's early-2000s sport capsule, a brief run of genuine beachwear the house never revisited. The largest of the sizes made.

Comes with its dust bag, which almost none of these still have.

Condition 

Fair vintage condition. Printed canvas remains bright, with softening and creasing consistent with age. Structurally sound. The navy leather base shows surface abrasion throughout, with wear to the edges and corners. The red webbing straps have few dark spots, and the cream lining shows spotting along the upper edge. Please review all the photos.
