Early 2000s Christian Dior White Leather Lucite Handle Malice Bag

The drawstring bucket with the lucite handle — Galliano-era Dior at its most Y2K.

The piece

Christian Dior Malice in white leather with silver-tone hardware and the signature clear lucite chain handle. Slouched bucket body, drawstring gather at the top, snap closure, Dior Oblique jacquard lining with an interior patch pocket. Embossed Christian Dior Paris leather tag inside. The lucite handle is the whole reason this bag gets remembered — nothing else in the house archive looks like it.

Condition
Cream leather is soft and slouchy with uniform colour, light surface creasing across the front, and a few very light marks that come with white leather. No staining or heavy wear. Interior lining shows yellowing from age. Silver hardware secure with no scratching or tarnish. Seams intact, no loose threads.

Approximately 28 cm wide × 24 cm high × 14 cm deep. Handle drop approximately 12 cm.
